Record Highs today….Showers, maybe a rumble of Thunder tomorrow – South Central….

Another round of RECORD temps are on tap for parts of Kansas today!

Down-sloping conditions with Strong winds will allow for significant surface heating 20-25 degrees higher than normal. A Pacific cool front will move through the State late tonight returning temps to normal range for this time of year.

A “short wave” will move West to East along the KS/OK border Tuesday afternoon into evening. This piece of energy COULD spark a few showers and possibly a rumble of Thunder. Rainfall amounts appear LIGHT- with the majority of precip falling along and South of US 400…

Several computer models are showing the potential of a few showers….

This mornings AO forecast has it going deep into negative territory….

let’s continue to watch this index…..it is usually a telling sign of what to expect….COLD AIR…The Storm system around the 5th & 6th is still showing up- could that be the beginning of our pattern change? Stay tuned….
