Hello Weather Watchers!

This week we will continue to be dry and warm up to ABOVE AVERAGE temps as strong South begin to increase by Thursday.

Take a look at the WEEKLY DROUGHT MONITOR. We have not seen this big of a EXTREME drought for many years – evening EXCEPTIONAL drought being indicated in North Central OK likely creeping North into South Central Kansas.

We continue to be very concerned with the threat of Wild fires….

We have a couple STRONG systems that should be CLOSE to our area week after this coming week…we will need to watch those storms…

I wish we had better news in the near term for our Farmer friends.

We are expecting the Southwest flow to return later this month into the first week or two in April.

We will be reviewing our Pattern to let you know the dates to expect returning systems. Have you been keeping track?

Easter weekend we could also see a storm – that could provide a Severe Weather threat for parts the region.

We will keep you posted-

Have a good Monday everyone!
