Hi Weather Watchers!

Here are the current conditions around the Sunflower State.

We have identified the the location of the Cold front- it is in the 60s North of the front and mid to upper 80s South of the front in KS. In fact it is 90 degrees this hour in Salina.

We are thinking that a few Thunderstorms are possible along the US56 corridor aroubd 7-10pm this evening.

We will be watching to see what develops.
Unfortunately, we are only expecting isolated amounts of precip- around .25″-.50″ being the greatest amounts we will likely see as most of the moisture is hung up with the cut-off Low.

The area of precip on the radar is associated with the cool air behind the front.

If you have questions- please ask.

Tomorrow will be a BEAUTIFUL day – so ENJOY IT before the cold front moves back North early Saturday as a warm front and as South winds pick up with gusts to around 30mph. Temps will likely be in close to 80 South and mid 70s North.

Sunday looks very warm…
