Good morning Weather Watchers.

We know there are Graduations and family get togethers planned for this weekend followed by Memorial Weekend next weekend.

There is Severe Weather & Flooding Potential this weekend into next week. In fact the next 10 -14 days look unsettled. Not every day but several bouts of potential Severe Weather or Convection with heavy rain. The exact details are unclear but we want to provide you a heads up.

The SPC Outlook is below:

How these Storm systems develop and the threats they will pose are still to be determined.

This weekend – especially looks like a VERY WET storm system with the potential of more flooding. Our confidence in several inches of rain is increasing- especially over Central & Eastern areas.

Our thinking is the greatest potential for Severe Weather including Tornadoes Very Large Hail and additional heavy rain will be on Monday. We are basing that on the strength of the upper level winds.

We wanted to provide a little heads up for you.

Timing and location of the Severe Potential will change some so please stay tuned.

Expect ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPS and increased moisture through next week.

Sunday looks like a day when we dry out and allow the atmosphere to recharge before the Strong system moves in on Monday.

If you have questions- Please ask!!

Have a great day!!

We will provide more SPECIFIC DETAILS on the set-ups over the next 24-36 hours.

Weather Watchers…
