Good afternoon Weather Watchers!

It looks like ONLY scattered small swath of frost occurred in Central KS last night. Let us know if you saw any frost ( and where).

This week we should see highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. A dry cold front comes through Tuesday.

We are watching for the potential of light rain Tuesday night, Game 1 of the World Series, very close to Kansas City.

The next chance of appreciable rainfall looks to be Friday into Saturday as a storm system moves out of the desert SW into the Central plains where storms seem to fall apart-we have seen this a number of times… Will this system be a stronger system or will it fall apart- that is a real question we must think about. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Model forecast for late week precip:

500 mb – showing approaching storm for Fri and Satellite
Ok Weather Watchers, have a great week!

We will provide live reports from the World Series for you on Tuesday as KC takes on the NY Mets. Game 2 should have perfect weather on Wednesday.

Questions, just ask!
