Hi Weather Watchers!

Hope you are having a GREAT DAY!!

We wanted to give you a heads up on the system we knew should return around the 17th. That looks to be our first real Spring Storm event with Chances of Severe Storms across the Eastern 1/2 of the State and South into Oklahoma Wed late afternoon into evening.

This is NOT a outbreak situation but we could see some large hail and maybe a couple Tornadoes in the storms that move through.

This show the potential for Convection of Thunderstorms.

Where exactly this sets up is still up in the air so to speak…LOL… pun intended!

Many across the state should see some moisture with this system…in fact over the next 10-14 days we have 2-3 chances of 2-4″ of LIQUID moisture. Looks fairly wet towards the middle through the end of the the month which we stated in our Spring outlook.

These are from the European Model which has done a good job with our systems of late!

We are forecasting another system the following week.

It looks like a WET system- the potential for some severe storms exist but again it is not looking like an extremely dynamic system at this point – WE WILL WATCH IT FOR YOU.

Here is the rainfall potential based on the European AND GFS

They both agree with what we predicted last month – a wet end to April and Severe Storms in May:

GFS:

We will get in to our forecast a little deeper tomorrow-
