Kansas Weather: Expect a cool down beginning tomorrow and bottoming out Sunday with highs only in the Single digits in NE Kansas and around 30 in Liberal.
Morning rain should end in Foxborough, MA around noon Saturday! The strong area of Low pressure should be just off-shore enough to not cause any issues.

We have been watching some weak systems in the Central Plains that should move through over the next few days. A couple chances of Light snow do exist especially in Northeast KS late in the weekend.

We have been watching a more Significant system- it is a system that brought Snow to Western KS the first part of December.

The models are LOST- just plain lost.

Know that their is a possibility of a system late next week. Some models show a BIG storm, others have it developing over the Central Plains with a Severe event in the Mid South as it moves East.

This SPLIT FLOW is causing havoc – I am just amazed at how strong the Southern stream is. Lots of storms forming over the Gulf – Severe storms are likely Friday over South Florida as a piece of energy moves out of the Gulf with that South stream.

Waiting for our Southwest storms to come into play later this month and into February.

Will we see additional flooding in the Missouri and Mississippi valley’s?

Will we see an early Severe Weather season…. WE THINK SO.

The first Atlantic HURRICANE of the 2016 season has formed! We haven’t seen anything like this since 1938!! Hurricane Alex formed yesterday, Hurricane Alice formed in Dec of 1954 and fell apart in Jan 1955….Absolutely CRAZY to see a Hurricane in January!

The winds are 85 mph; the track takes the Storm  Northwest towards Greenland.
Have a great day – we are working on some projects to enhance our Severe Weather coverage. We will be asking what is important to you during Severe Weather events. Please feel free to share.

Any questions-just ask…
