Hello Weather Watchers!

As forecast, not much widespread rain fell with the storms yesterday-let us know what fell around your neighborhood.

As the storms intensifies it slows down – it had nice form and will be moving NE out of the area overnight.

You can tell it had strengthened by the comma shape it has taken. When storm systems strengthen they also slow down.

This shows us the winds associated with the storm.
Here are the current conditions across KS.

The cold side of the Storm is Chilly with Temps 20 degrees below normal in Nebraska and Iowa- see below:

If you are headed to the Chiefs vs Titans preseason game in KC- make sure you pack some ponchos – you will likely need them.

More isolated Thunderstorms will be East of the Turnpike this evening.

Once this system moves through we will return to a more tranquil pattern through Labor Day weekend – becoming unsettled around Labor Day and continuing for a few days.

### We already have an idea of what to expect for FALL and WINTER ###

We will release our PRELIMINARY forecast in the next couple of weeks.
