### STORM UPDATE ###

This system has been one of the most difficult storms for the models to handle. The

Upper level energy is now along the Central Coast of California.

That energy SHOULD BEGIN TO INTENSIFY as it moves into Northern Mexico/Southern New Mexico:

It will spin in that area producing heavy snows for West Texas.

The Storm will then move NE through Tulsa and end up East of Columbia by Tuesday night:

AS ALWAYS- THIS WILL LIKELY CHANGE!!

THIS TRACK IS THE TRACK WE HAVE SEEN OTHER STORMS TAKE THIS FALL!!

Here is the Snowfall potential:

This track targets the Eastern half of the State. The yellows are 6+ inches- Pinks are 8+ inches and the gray indicates the potential for 12+ inches.

IF THAT LOW TRACKS FURTHER WEST 50-100 miles- the snow will move West as well. IF THE LOW TRACKS EAST 50-100 miles- this could be a BUST.

THE GFS MODEL PRODUCES WINTER WEATHER EAST OF HWY 75 or EAST OF A TOPEKA TO INDEPENDENCE LINE.

TIMING- RAIN AND THUNDER SATURDAY turning to Freezing Rain over Central KS Saturday afternoon /evening-we will watch temperature profiles.

Expect travel issues Sunday – Late Monday evening over the Eastern 3/4ths of the State.

We will provide updates and you are welcome to ask questions- we will have someone available to answer your question throughout the Holiday…

PLEASE ENTER OUR CONTEST BY MAKING A COMMENT!!!

Good luck Weather Watchers!
