Hello Weather Watchers!

Much colder Sunday with Snow flurries possible from NW to SE along a line from Northwest of Russell to Wichita and 40 miles each side of that line…

FLURRIES POSSIBLE 9a-3p

Late Monday night into the early morning hours on Tuesday is when precipitation should begin….as a much stronger storm moves out into Plains- THE TRACK OF THIS STORM WILL DETERMINE PRECIP TYPE!! As we have always said a 20 mile wobble can change precip type – PLEASE STAY TUNED!!

This system will have a tad more moisture to work with- don’t get to excited- expecting less than a .25″ of total moisture.

We could see a swath of snow from 2-4″ along and North of US50 with Freezing Rain or Sleet South of US50.

THIS SYSTEM COULD CAUSE SOME TRAVEL TROUBLES TUESDAY…especially where the freezing rain and sleet falls.

As you can tell the slightest movement will change precipitation type.

So just stay tuned….

ANOTHER SYSTEM WITH COLD AIR AND SOME TYPE OF PRECIPITATION IS POSSIBLE NEXT WEEKEND…CONFIDENCE IS LOW AT THIS TIME.

CURRENT CONDITIONS:

Light Rain in parts of NW KS
