**CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER SOUTH OF I-70 THURSDAY**

Strong Southerly winds gusting to 40mph, Warm temps in the mid 60s+ and Low Relative Humidities will make conditions PRIME for EXPLOSIVE FIRE GROWTH THURSDAY-Especially late morning to early evening.

If you see SMOKE, immediately call 911. There should be NO burning THURSDAY…PERIOD!

A Cool front moves through Thursday night switching the wind direction to the North on Friday gusting to 30mph. High temps in the mid to upper 50s for all areas.

Most of the Desert SW and Plains States have only seen 5-25% of normal precipitation in the last 90 days!!

We will keep you posted — PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU SEE ANY FIRES AND THERE LOCATIONS…

We are still expecting our pattern to change and get Arctic Air around Feb 8 based on our Long Range Weather Forecasting technique.

Until then expect ups and downs.

Weather Watchers!
