Good evening Weather Watchers!

Here is the temperature forecast map for late tonight showing temps falling in the 32-35 range Statewide with below freezing temps in far North Central KS.

This area of HIGH pressure moves quickly East allowing for return flow ( South/Southeast winds) to begin tomorrow afternoon. This will usher in warmer temps and low and mid level moisture.

By Saturday evening CAPE- Convective Available Potential Energy increases enough to help fire Thunderstorms. Large Hail looks to be a potential threat as well as Strong Thunderstorms winds.

Here is the forecasted CAPE for Sunday in Eastern KS.

We are seeing signs for the potential of scattered Thunderstorms  Saturday-Tuesday.

We will keep you posted.
