Happy Easter Sunday/Passover Weather Watchers!

How many of you have turned on your AC, then turned it back to heat and then back to AC? I’ll admit I’m in that group!

Today will be a very warm Easter day, totally different than last year when some of you saw Snow on Easter.

Here are temps for 4 PM today:

We have very weak piece of energy and cool front that will potentially affect our weather early evening.

A Secondary and stronger piece of energy is on its heals and will bring decent chances of moisture for Southwest into South Central.

The heaviest rain should stay across South Central areas .50-.75″

As you get out today you will feel those Warm South winds gusting to around 25mph.

These winds are helping usher in Moisture from the Gulf..

That nasty high octane moisture that makes us sweat – IT IS ON ITS WAY!! Over the next week or so the feels like index will be increasing as Moisture begins to pool across the Central US, East of the Rocky Mountains.

This fuel is waiting for a trigger to produce rainfall and Severe Storms which we should see a few times in May & June.

The Severe season looks like it will be another short one as many of the systems we thought would produce Severe Weather were COLD storms for our region. We should have anticipated that as February temps were below normal for 85% of the month.

Have a great day!!

Let us know if you have turned your AC on yet….
