The HEAT and HUMIDITY will be entrenched over the Sunflower State over the next 7-10 days.

We might see a cool front try and sneak through around the 29th – that’s a ways off but don’t be surprised if the flow changes from Zonal to Northwest  and sends a couple weak fronts toward the Sunflower State over the next 10-14 days. We should get a little more active beginning the week of July 5th with NW flow, with an even more active/slightly cooler pattern beginning the week of July 12th.

The dewpoints, aka humidity, will be quite high this next few days and winds will be gusty out of the SSW.

Again, if you Farm please let us know if and when you will begin harvesting and what kind of weather conditions you need. GOOD LUCK!!

Temps the next several days look VERY WARM with Heat Warnings out for the KC Metro area.

Expect temps of 95-102 with the heat indicies approaching 102-107!

Please make sure your elderly neighbors are OK as they are at risk for Heat illnesses as they will not run the AC because they can’t afford it.

Lastly – take care of your fur babies!!
