Hi Weather Watchers!

The very wet storm that came through on the 13th/14th of December is returning right on schedule, Feb 1st/2nd.

HOWEVER, before that, we will experience a NICE warm-up Friday into Saturday before our pattern starts to become active again…..

This is the Ensemble forecast during the December timeframe when the storm came through in the 2nd cycle – we had around 1.50″ of liquid in Central KS. Over 2″ in Northeast KS.

The system doesn’t look that impressive on the GFS Model and it appears to far North. A cold front should be moving South as the system organizes. The GFS doesn’t handle the colder air real well this far out. Something to watch….

The European Model is already showing pretty significant snow accumulations this far out- and it has been consistent with the Snowfall from SW to NE Kansas and then NE into IA.

Will it be cold enough to Snow? Will it end up being all rain like last time? Lots of questions we don’t have answers to yet…can we get answers from the last cycle?

THIS IS A WEEK OUT–THINGS WILL CHANGE!!!

We want to have you follow this storm with us as it develops over the next few days. We are 7 days out – let’s see how it progresses. Watch it change and then finally come together….

Have any questions- let us know…

Enjoy the warmer temps…Have a good Tuesday….
