Hi Weather Watchers…

New data is out showing the Severe potential The Gulf moisture which provides the energy for these storms looks to be marginal for today’s set-up but enough to develop some Severe storms anytime after 2pm this afternoon.

THE COVERAGE OR NUMBER OF STORMS WILL BE LIMITED OR ISOLATED.

Here are the areas that have potential to see storms- AGAIN, NOT EVERYONE IN THE THREAT AREA WILL SEE STORMS…

Any storms that form in the area circled have the potential to rotate.

THIS IS WHAT MODELS ARE PREDICTING – DEVELOPMENT BEGININNING AROUND 3pm
The set up on the Obervation Map

Currently the Dryline is already sharpening – that is the brown line – it separates dry air to the West to warm moist air to the East. This will continue to shift East throughout the day.

We will keep you posted….

AGAIN THIS WILL NOT BE A WIDESPEAD SEVERE EVENT BUT STORMS THAT DO FORM WILL PACK A PUNCH- Large hail, Strong winds and an isolated Tornado are possible.
