Hi Weather Watchers!

Let’s take a look at the current surface map.

Flood Watch for the areas in Green where 2-5″ is possible. This heavy rainfall is along a stationary boundary that will be moving North as a Warm Front Tuesday causing Heavy Rain/Severe Weather with the help from upper air support.

1AM Tonight-Tuesday AM

1PM Tuesday

7PM Tuesday night

7AM Wed morning

8PM Monday night- Showers beginning to develop now- will continue to increase in coverage and intensity throughout the night. Not expecting SEVERE storms overnight tonight!!

SEVERE WEATHER COULD AFFECT THE SOUTH CENTRAL/SOUTHEAST PORTION OF THE STATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON UNLESS THE OVERNIGHT AND MORNING RAINS WORK-OVER THE ATMOSPHERE PREVENTING THE ATMOSPHERE FROM RECOVERING ENOUGH TO BECOME UNSTABLE FOR RENEWED STORMS!

Here is what the Severe Threat looks like ( as of now ) for tomorrow – they will update this overnight and again by 8AM tomorrow morning- we will keep you posted.

If the atmosphere becomes unstable tomorrow afternoon – Large Hail, Strong Winds and a few Tornadoes are possible- especially across Southeastern KS and Northeast OK

This is the latest GFS Total Precip Model for 14 days…

Its overdone, but we are expecting a very active May and June.

This is a little too crazy- DO NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!

Questions- please let us know!

Have a great evening!!
