Hello Weather Watchers! Can you feel the humidity? Those with breathing issues are likely struggling some with how heavy the air is. Dewpoint temperatures are at 62-68 making it feel very soupy.

You are likely noticing that we aren’t seeing widespread Storms even though we have ENHANCED risk areas.

The last 2 evenings we have seen just one or two storms in the ENGANCED risk areas but they have been nasty storms. Hail to Tennis Ball size and Tornadoes dropping from one or two Supercell storms.

These storms have been firing on the dry-line ( a boundary that separates dry air from very moist air. )

THE DRY-LINE WILL BE MOVING FURTHER EAST EVERYDAY THIS WEEK.

Here is today’s threat area:

Those in the area of the Orange coloring (and close to it ) need to be Weather aware as that is the area that could see a few Supercell storms TODAY.

The storms will form mid to late afternoon with Tornado and Severe Thunderstorm watches likely- make sure your weather radios are ready.

Here is the Tornado from yesterday North of Garden City KS.

As these storms develop further East, PLEASE BE WEATHER AWARE!

Share any images of Severe Storms IMMEDIATELY…

This is why Weather Watchers works- we share information to protect our neighbors in surroundings areas. That’s what Kansas is all about.

SHARE YOUR WEATHER…

We will not be in the field again today- we are relying on you to let us know what you see.
