Hi Weather Watchers…

Overnight storms developed just North of I-70 and trained over the same areas.

4-6″ Rainfalls were common overnight. Flash flooding is ongoing in those areas.

Later today scattered Severe Thunderstorms are likely with HAIL, HEAVY RAIN AND A FEW TORNADOES -mainly over SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

NOT EVERYONE WILL SEE STORMS-

With kids out of school- PLEASE TELL THEM OF THE THREAT TODAY AND WHAT TO DO IF STORMS APPROACH!!!

South Central KS is the area we are concerned with….

TORNADO THREAT AREA- the area in Brown has the greatest risk.
