Good afternoon Weather Watchers!

The “shortwave” we have been expecting is approaching from the South- this is why it is called a shortwave – it is a wave moving through in the atmosphere around 19000′ above the surface. It is NOT a deep trough like we see with Significant storms – we have significant Moisture, Minimal lift, very limited instability and minimal shear- that is why we just will see rain, no storms.

We will likely see rain end West to East with the Central/South Central seeing the most rainfall before it ends Thursday morning.

WE STILL HAVE CHANCES FOR SEVERE WEATHER FRI and Especially Saturday.

There are a few details that need worked out before we post a detailed forecast- just be aware…..be prepared!

Stay tuned…..

PLEASE REPORT RAIN TOTALS!!!
