Here is where the Cut-off Low is forecast to be at 7pm tonight- the blue line is the Jet Stream.

    

Should see some showers Tuesday night into Wednesday as the Cut-off Low spits out a couple impulses across Kansas- we will pin down who should get some additional moisture later.

As we told you over a month ago the mid to end of April through part of May looks active. 

Here is the GFS 14 day precipitation outlook:

This shows widespread 4-5″ rainfall totals through the next 14 days.  
 Thus model is an experimental model that’s shows precipitation potentional from the end of April through mid May. As you can see the Southwest, Southern and Central Plains have above average potential for rainfall during that time frame. This is likely due to the fact that we will see some blocking setting up over the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast US, sonething we will be watching for.
