We have been forecasting for over a Month that the last 2 weeks of June and the first week 7-10 days of July will be Hot and Dry- and will be followed by a somewhat cooler than average July with above average precipitation.

WILL IT HAPPEN?? We think so…

###########################

The models are beginning to catch on to the pattern we have been expecting. Our first of 3 Heat Waves will begin early next week with a strong area of High Pressure building into the Central US.

This is the upper level flow- 18000 ft above us.

Week of June 22nd
  Week of June 29th

The purples represent temps in the 90s to 100.

Get your Air Conditioners fixed/serviced now as the HEAT will be intense!

For the rest of THIS WEEK- if you are headed towards HOUSTON-DFW-OKC-OZARKS be prepared for FLOODING RAINS!    5-8″ are possible from the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill. This will be a dangerous situation…

The HEAVIEST Rainfall will be on the EASTERN side of the Storm with much lighter on the West side.

Closer to home – Thunderstorms should be ending with the exception of afternoon and evening storms that form on the front range of CO and move into Western KS.

A cool front approaches KS this weekend stalls and moves back North as a Warm front- maybe a few Thunderstorms Sat night.

Questions- PLEASE ASK!

Have a great day!!
