Good morning Weather Watchers!

Several inches have fallen across many parts of the State.

Here is where he have seen the most significant totals in the last 24 hours:

These are the totals over the last 72 hours:

An additional 2-4″ is possible through Tues night before the system moves East of the area and High Pressure moves in before our next system – The remnants of Tropical system Sergio look to move through Thurs night through Sat:

The current system looks like this:

This could be the first storm of our pattern transition or part of the transition. Time will tell as the clock is running.

Hopefully we see more systems that dig into the SW as seen above. It’s these set-ups that allow for stormy wet systems in the Winter and Spring. This would be a Severe set-up in the Spring.

Here are the current Flood Watches and Warnings. The Warning indicate flooding is occurring or likely as rivers crest later in the week.

In Hutchinson you will see flooding NW and West of town along the Cow Creek and along the Arkansas River….. Stay tuned for details. Depending on how much more rain that area receives, that could enhance the flooding outlooks. MODERATE flooding is expected along both of those waterways.

Many Rivers and Creeks are flooding- if you want to see the Warnings they are listed at the top of our Webpage.

We will have additional updates….

Stay tuned….
