Good morning Weather Watchers!

Here are current conditions and where the main boundaries are located- we can tell where boundaries are based on wind direction and Temperatures and Dewpoints and Satellite images.

This is the Supercell development outlook – where the Supercell development potential is forecast to be the greatest.

Supercells are individual or lone storms. It’s these storms that have the largest hail and have the greatest Tornado threat. They can be High Precipitation cells or Low Precipitation – what we saw yesterday were HP Supercells.

The storms should begin to form in Western and Central KS when temperatures achieve Maximum daytime heating after 4pm- We are seeing storms develop now in some areas but the bulk of the development will be after 4pm

The area we circled in yellow is the most likely area for INITIAL development.

The greatest threats today into tonight look to be LARGE HAIL & FLOODING RAINS.

**Tornado threat is increasing across the State…see image below.

**WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED TO SEE AN ENHANCED RISK AT THE NEXT SPC UPDATE**

***This is OUR opinion- we want our bloggers to be prepared – so we are sharing our professional thoughts.

Areas that had storms yesterday- the ground is saturated and it won’t take much for Flash Flooding:
