Good morning Weather Watchers!  We have taken a look at overnight data and see minimal changes for tomorrow’s Severe Thunderstorm  potential.

I do think storms will be more scattered because of the STRONG CAP that will be in place.  That said, as the CAP breaks, storms will become Severe very rapidly and starting to spin quickly – which is what we call Supercell storms.

Here is how we think things will start after 2 pm— once storms initiate the entire system will begin to move East Northeast with the Severe threat moving with it.

The PURPLE circle has the potential to experience the most Significant Severe Weather as storms develop. The Pink circle surrounding the Purple circle is an area that could see Severe Weather initially, just not as Severe.

NOT EVERY COMMUNITY WILL SEE SEVERE WEATHER SO PAYING ATTENTION TO THE SKY AND OUR WEBSITE WILL BE A GOOD IDEA TOMORROW.

Here is the Storm Prediction Centers threat prediction. The areas that are black hatched are where the SPC is thinking the most Significant Severe Weather could occur. AGAIN, Not everyone in that area will see Severe Storms so it is important you do what we do- Keep an eye to the Kansas Sky.

Remember, we will be LIVE on our website- www.SevereWeather.US

Our STORM line will also be open for you to call and provide us with what you are seeing or experiencing. Remember, SHARE YOUR WEATHER – the information you are providing will help families in the path of the storm after it moves past you.
