Good morning Weather Watchers- the Strong Cold front we are expecting  Saturday has slowed down and the associated area of Low pressure looks to be stronger as it moves into the Central Plains.

We could even see a few Supercells with a couple Tornados as storms develop out in front of the Cold front mid to late Saturday afternoon into early evening before storms line up becoming more of a heavy rain Wind event.

With the system slowing down, precipitation looks to last into Sunday evening for the Eastern 2/3 of the State.

We will have an COMPLETE update after the next model run- expect a FULL UPDATE this afternoon.

We just wanted you to be aware that  it looks like a wet and windy weekend for many with Severe chances followed by Snow.

The best location for snow – maybe a few inches will be areas West of Hwy 283 to the CO border. TRAVEL COULD BE IMPACTED!!

This will be an exciting storm to watch develop as it forms into the classic comma head.

More later….
