Good morning Weather Watchers-

The forecast hasn’t changed much- the SPC has moved the Enhanced Risk further South into the parts of Central/South Central Kansas

We are very confident with the development of Storm in the Northern part of the dry-line and the West end of the Warm front.

Here are the boundaries drawn in to the Tornado threat area. NOT EVERYONE IN THAT AREA WILL SEE A TORNADO- It is just the area with the best Tornadic dynamics –

The black hatched area could also see a STRONG TORNADO….

The question is HOW FAR SOUTH WILL THESE SUPERCELL STORMS DEVELOP??

The models are forming these storms all along the dry-line and then chocking them off for area South of Hwy 56- THIS WILL NEED TO BE WATCHED DO NOT TAKE THAT AS GOSPEL-we will update you later – those South of 56 Hwy including Rush, Barton, Kiowa, Stafford Pratt, Harper and Pawnee Counties please stay weather aware!!!

This is why- based on Wind shear- we have our target picked out- can you figure it out?

The areas target zone we are going to focus on this afternoon will be somewhere within this zone.

IF YOU ARE GOING “Chasing”, today will be crazy- please be careful.

Look at the chasers already out – and these are only one who belong to a certain network- not everyone.

We will keep you posted- stay weather aware!

Questions, please ask….
