Wanted to update you with a few adjustments to our THREAT AREAS

We discussed this in our earlier briefing but the THREAT for 70+mph winds has officially moved to the I-135 corridor.

The ENHANCED area for SEVERE STORMS now includes these cities HUTCHINSON-ELLSWORTH-LYONS-KINGMAN-HAYS-RUSSELL-GREAT BEND-GARDEN CITY-DODGE CITY-GREENSBURG-STAFFORD-LARNED:

The main hail threat will be in Western areas of Kansas-

The hail threat will decrease as the complex moves East.

HEAVY RAIN, HIGH WINDS look to be the biggest threat with a SMALL potential of a couple Tornadic spin-ups.

As these storms develop into one LARGE complex, it will be VERY loud, with lots of Lightning & Thunder- so be prepared to medicate your animals.

Current Regional Map showing that Storms will develop in the areas in purple and grow upscale into one or two complexes.

What happens with the storms tonight will determine how tomorrow’s forecast plays out.
