Good afternoon Weather Watchers! The Storm Prediction Center has moved the Severe Weather threat South and West of it’s predicted location from this mornings forecast- as thinking is the areas to the Northeast will have a tough time getting rid of the “Convective debris” – clouds and low tempetatures and dewpoints from this mornings rainfall.

That area will still see rainfall later tonight- Severe chances have decreased significantly for NE Kansas.

South Central KS and Northwest OK look to be warming up and dewpoints are increasing into the upper 50s and lower 60s according to latest Observations. With several hours prior to initiation the new target area should be primed for the potential of Severe storms later this afternoon into this evening.  Golfball or larger size hail- Heavy rainfall and an isolated Tornado or two.
