Hi Weather Watchers! 

The latest models show more moisture and cold air aloft than they have been in the last several model runs. 

If current models verify, the potential for Central Kansas to see 1-2″ of wet Snow on grassy surfaces by Friday morning is very possible.

This shows below freezing temperatures just above the surface Friday AM.  
This shows 15-20 degree temperatures around 5000′:

  
This would be our best guess where snow would fall based on current data.  
  

 Temps will be Cold Thursday night with lows in the low to mid 30s. 
Friday will be cloudy and chilly with highs only in the low to mid 40s by mid afternoon.

Friday night and Saturday night expect lows in the low 20s North and West and 25-28 degree range Central and South Central KS. 

Daytime  temperatures Saturday and Sunday in the low 60s.
