IT IS SNOWING IN THE AREA CIRCLED WITH REDUCED VISIBILITIES BEING REPORTED!!

This area of snow will move Southeast and will begin to encounter drier air reducing snowfall amounts…

Traffic accidents have been reported so please slow down and take your time….

This is a very dry snow with a ratio of 13″+ to 1″ of moisture. 1-2″ are possible in North Central Kansas.

Additionally WIND CHILLS OF -15 are being reported in NW Kansas!

Good morning Weather Watchers!

Snow is falling over North Central KS with additional Snow moving Southeast out of Nebraska. The highest accumulations will be across over North Central areas with 1-2″ possible.

STRONG North winds gusting to around 30mph with temps in the single digits NW to 33 in the far SE corner of the State are being felt across KS this morning- quite a raw morning in most areas.

Current conditions:

Tuesday’s System is still on track with as we forecast yesterday accumulating Snow North of US400 with Icy conditions along and South.

1-4″ seems reasonable….
