The computer models did a terrible job with predicting the strength of this system as it moved ENE across Kansas.

Here are current conditions with some Snowfall totals that have been reported.

Snow will end from SW to NE.. it will begin to decrease in intensity and coverage as it encounters the area of High pressure to our North which has much drier air and decreased lift.

The High pressure will settle in over Central Kansas making for a chilly night with lows in low to mid 20s. Colder for areas that have some left over snowpack.

We predicted this active period in our last post and it will continue over the next 10 days or so.
