Hi Weather Watchers!

A STRONG system will be developing Wed night into Thurs in NE Colorado. It will rapidly strengthen and slow down as it moves ENE.

Notice there is a Winter Storm Watch for portions of NW Nebraska and the Western 2/3rds of South Dakota where BLIZZARD CONDITIONS and VERY HEAVY SNOW totals are likely Friday night into Saturday.

Additionally – this storm will only give Kansans the threat for EXTREME FIRE CONDITIONS today through Saturday.

Northwest Kansas could see some Snow Friday night with the wrap around moisture from this system.

Severe Storms are likely along the dry-line from Central MO to Northeast TX:

FIRE INDEX IS EXTREME – so please take extra precautions while smoking – Carry a bottle of water with you in your car so you can put your Cigs there instead of out the window- I don’t know how many burned ditches I’ve seen in the last few weeks-like from irresponsible smokers.

We will keep you posted –

NO REAL MOISTURE CHANCES until around the 20th-we will have to watch that system…

Have a good day!!
