Good Friday morning Weather Watchers!!

Those of you sensitive to weather might start to ache today and especially tomorrow as the dewpoints increase into the mid 60s and South winds increase to 25mph.

This is called return flow or warm air advection.

The most likely chance for Storms is Saturday evening as they develop along a STRONG Cold front moving Southeast across the State.

Tonight’s storms are NOT a sure thing- the GFS model has a Vort Max moving through as depicted here- the NAM shows NOTHING…

The precipitation potential for Saturday night looks decent-.50 up to 2″ with the heaviest storms.

Some of the Storms could be Severe Saturday evening- not expecting widespread Severe activity- more isolated strong to severe storms.

After temps in the 90s Saturday- Sunday looks beautiful with temps in the upper 70s to around 80 with VERY low dewpoints making it feel like Fall again.

The next chance of a few Storms could be around Thursday as moisture returns Wednesday and another Vorticity looks to move through Thursday night/early Friday morning.

Here are the current forecasted rain totals by Sunday AM…. Let’s see how it plays out
