Good afternoon Weather Watchers

Thunderstorms are forming along a dryline as seen on the radar image below.

  
These isolated Storms have the potential to become severe and maybe one or two could have the potential of a BRIEF Tornado. Something we will Watch VERY CLOSELY as the atmospheric conditions are just right through sunset.

 Here are 5 pm conditions- notice that Hill City and Russell are in the upper 90s- with further East Cooler and having higher dewpoints.

It’s the areas in Central KS with lower spreads between temperature and dewpoint that we will watch for Strong/Severe storm development. 

 NOT EXPECTING A WATCH AT THIS TIME…
