Here is the current surface conditions:

The front hasn’t moved much at all since last evening. 

There is an area of Low Pressure in SW KS that will move NE and likely be located around Topeka by early afternoon– Thunderstorms are festering along the front in SC KS and further to the East in the warm sector are much more organized with cluster of elevated storms producing a few hail events and wind gusts. 

The blue line represents the cold front – 60s degree temp and 50 degree dewpoints on the NW side of the front and 70 degree temps with mid 60s dewpoints.  

Here is the the SPCs thoughts on where Severe Weather could occur later this afternoon. (In the Yellow areas- Slight risk)
