Hello Weather Watchers!

Thank you for ALL of the reports you provided during the Thunder-Ice event! We explained why we had Thunderstorms in our previous blog. Hope you enjoyed it….

OUR NEXT WINTER WEATHER EVENT WILL BEGIN MID AFTERNOON WEDNESDAY….

It will be very similar to the event we experienced earlier today and last night with on TEMPERATURES ALOFT BEING EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!

Will some see an ICE STORM, >.25″ of Ice on trees and powerlines? Will we see Snow initially followed by sleet and freezing rain? Will we see sleet & freezing rain ending with rain.

BE PREPARED FOR A ROUGH AFTERNOON/EVENING COMMUTE WEDNESDAY AS WELL AS A ROUGH MORNING COMMUTE THURSDAY.

Our current thinking is areas Along & East of the US281 Corridor will feel the greatest impact.

Total moisture potential with this system is expected to be between 25″-.35″

Here is some of the most current model output:

We will take a look at the NEW DATA around 11PM….

QUESTIONS- please ask!

Continue to provide us will the great updates about what is happening around you!

Thanks!
