Happy Monday Weather Watchers!!

This is the beginning of an unsettled week of Weather here in the Central Plains.

The Big Story today will be a STRONG COLD FRONT making its way Southeast across the Sunflower State.

The front has LOTS of moisture to work with and will get some help to enhance rainfall over the Southeast 1/4 of KS beginning this evening into the overnight.

For that reason, a Flash Flood Watch has been issued for areas in Green

Basically along and East of a line from KC to Medicine Lodge.

Here is what models are thinking for this first round Monday- Wednesday 7am
Additional rainfall is likely Wednesday through Thursday- here are predicted TOTALS for Monday through Friday:

Expect temperatures in the 70s Tuesday and Wednesday!

Rainfall should begin to develop early to mid afternoon ahead of the cold front- the front will move slowly SE while storm cluster move Northeast along the cold front setting up the heavy rain event as the front slows down.

Questions- please ask.

Please SHARE YOUR WEATHER including rain totals.

A few storms could be bumpy this afternoon with Strong Winds…

Enjoy this July rainfall…..
