Hi Weather Watchers!

We are still expecting some additional rain..BUT NOT THE FLOOD POTENTIAL WE WERE THINKING.

New development has been occurring along and West of the Cold front.

Regional observations- the blue line is a cold front.
As seen on the Water Vapor Satellite – some dry air has tried to infiltrate in to our system.

As we said for days- this system is cut off from the main West to East flow – which will allow the system to just spin and go where it wants.

We will continue to see on a off rainfall through Monday.

BASED ON NEW MODEL DATA we are not seeing the FLOOD criteria that existed just 12 hours ago.  This is why they say “a Cut-off low is a weather persons woe”…

Another scattered .5-1.5″ are possible throughout Central/Eastern Kansas between now and Monday afternoon.

Our next HIGH CONFIDENCE potential for rain exists Tuesday night into Wed – this will likely affect areas South of I-70 where 1” could be possible with non-Severe Thunderstorms

Lastly-

Next Sunday is showing potential for Severe Weather
