Hello Weather Watchers!

Here is our current Satellite image. The dry-line has moved very close to the I-135  corridor. I drew in the features on the Map below.

The Red line is the Warm front- the separates Cooler air to the North from Warm moist air to the South.

The Brown line that is drawn North to South is the dry-line, it will move back West this afternoon and be another trigger for Severe Storms.

The threat level from Severe Weather remains the same.

Initiation looks to be after 3 pm- any storms that develop will be very strong with WITH VERY LARGE HAIL most likely the biggest threat.

Tornadoes will be possible with the strongest storms.

TORNADO THREAT-

HAIL THREAT- very significant

Models show initiation around 3-4 pm

The dry-line appears to retrograde West- how far will it get??  BIG KEY TO WHERE STORMS FIRE….

DO NOT LET YOUR GUARD DOWN ….

Been getting many messages saying the boundaries have moved East- and my area won’t see storms…

THESE BOUNDARIES ARE VERY FLUID.

As we stated from the beginning – we are utilizing the SPC forecast which was just updated at 11:30pm

IF SOMETHING CHANGES WE WILL LET YOU KNOW…
