The Surface LOW is on top of Manhattan, KS right now- the PAIN index is quite high!

Here is the current satellite image, you can see a very distinct cyclone beginning to form as the system moves off to the Northeast. The pressure gradient is very strong which will continue to produce strong winds through early evening.

GUSTS TO 60 mph are possible across areas of SW and West Central KS.

SEVERE STORMS/TORNADOES ARE ALREADY FIRING ALONG A COOL FRONT/Psuedo dry line as it pushes East. These storms will move into a better for Rotating Storms later this afternoon into this evening.
