Good late afternoon Weather Watchers!

We are watching a few Storms in East Central KS but one in particular has had CONFIRMED Softball size hail.

Let’s take a look at it:

This particular storm is the same one that dropped baseball size hail earlier this afternoon around Wamego. It continues to be fueled by CAPE values around 5000 j/kg.

Additional SCATTERED Supercells like this one are possible mainly South of a Coldwater to Hutchinson to Chanute line. VERY LARGE HAIL and 80mph wind gusts are possible with these isolated Supercell storms

If a storm approaches or develops near you pay close attention! They will become severe very quickly!

Please share any weather info…this is a very dangerous set-up…AGAIN, these will be VERY SCATTERED STORMS especially West of I-135 … not everyone should see one .
