TORNADO WATCH that was scheduled to go UNTIL 1AM for most of  Western Kansas- Areas West of US281 has been cancelled early.

We have seen a few Severe Thunderstorm Warnings( mostly West of US283 ) since the Tornado Watch was issued.

The HRRR Model breaks out Thunderstorms in South Central Kansas around midnight or shortly after.

I have a feeling that these storms will provide us with well deserved moisture most of the night and then stabilize the atmosphere like it did today missing an opportunity for rainfall tomorrow afternoon.  If we don’t see rainfall tonight, the atmosphere is still resetting itself and tomorrow has to potential to be active here in Central KS as the Surface based cyclone moves out of Colorado into Western KS.  I really do believe Thunderstorms begin to develop in South Central KS in the next 3 hours- Let’s see how it plays out…..

A few Severe Thunderstorms are possible West of I-135, while most of the activity that develops should be decent rain makers a few hailers are possible.
