Hello Weather Watchers!

A WARM Sunday today as we have West winds across most of the State at the Surface and Mid levels. This creates downsloping conditions when air moves from Higher elevations to lower elevations and when that air compresses, it warms!

Temps in Western KS COULD warm into the 70s – we have forecast upper 60s.

This is all in advance of another dry cold front which will cool us down some as STRONG NW Winds get going Monday.

2 more dry fronts are going to move through this coming week with NO significant Cool down – we will be fairly close to seasonal norms….

We are continuing to see the potential pattern change around Christmas… Confidence is Low based on our last 50 day – however our long term forecasting technique says we could see a few storm systems late December into January.
