Good morning Weather Watchers…

We were right again that the Winter Storm Warning would likely be expanded overnight and it was..

There are not as many power outages reported as we thought there could be… However as the sun comes up the wind will begin to increase- so could power interruptions.

Currently around 150 customers in the Evergy grid are out, most in McPherson/Marion Counties.

The good thing is the Precip is ending from SW to NE…

Temps are still hovering around freezing so the ice will stay on the power-lines and trees until temps finally begin to warm later this AM.

Untreated roadways and elevated roadways are EXTREMELY SLICK this morning.

Please take your morning commute SLOW…

The next storm system should affect us during the Wed/Thurs time frame next week. We will keep you posted.

Please share your Weather… What’s happening in your area…

Have a SAFE day Weather Watchers!
