Hello Weather Watchers! After lots of rain over Western and Central KS last night, more is on the way.

We have been looking at the models and the showers that are currently in Western KS are part of a larger system that will bring showers and storms up into the Central 1/3 of the State this evening. Not expecting Severe Weather, however, heavy rainfall is possible through the overnight hours.

SEVERE WEATHER THREAT returns to the Sunflower State Wednesday.

An area of Low Pressure in SW KS  deepens or increases in intensity as a Dryline sharpens from a Dodge to Meade line- this along with a piece of energy in the atmosphere will give us chances of Supercell Storms with Large Hail, Heavy rainfall and a few Tornadoes.

Additional heavy rainfall is likely Thursday night and Friday night.

SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER IS SOMETHING WE ARE WATCHING VERY CLOSELY FOR SATURDAY AS A STRONG SYSTEM APPROACHES

Please stay tuned……
