Good evening Weather Watchers!

Here is the current National Map giving you an idea on what’s happening across the US- it doesn’t show you the First Snowfall of the season in the Northern NY Adirondacks.

The storm that will affect us later in the week is causing Flash Flooding in the desert SW.

Strong SW Winds and Warm temps will bring an ELEVATED RISK of Fire Weather Monday/Tuesday in the outlined area:

The Strong South winds will be transporting moisture towards the Sunflower State giving many of us chances for decent rainfall… 

Here is what the 500mb levels look like:


Take a look at the moisture amounts forecast by the GFS and WPC models. The European model cuts these totals almost in half. 
 Rememberthat we predicted the first Freeze for South Central KS on or around November 9th. This is close to 30 days late…..

The winter pattern appears to be coming more clear. We will be watching what happens this week very closely.
