Good morning Weather Watchers!

The Upper Low is directly over the four corners region this morning. 

  
This system will move 400 miles in 12 hours- just over 30 miles per hour. 

By 8-9pm this evening the Low should be in SE CO, SW KS- it will begin to strengthen in intensity.

Out ahead of the Low the area circled in yellow – you will see some rainfall with the potential for a few rumbles of Thunder. This should move off to the East as the evening progresses. 

 
  

As the system moves out onto the Plains it will strengthen as it moves NE. 

Here is where the Low will track and the timing. For those of you who have autoimmune issues-be aware you will likely feel the impact of this strong Low.

  
Areas of Pink expect 6-10″ with STRONG WINDS…causing blowing and drifting.

Areas of Red expect 6-12″ with Blizzard conditions – winds of 30mph gusting to 45mph causing drifting and zero visibility.

Areas of Purple expect 2-4″
