Hi Weather Watchers!

This weekends Storm system looks to be coming together.

The models seem to have a “decent” grasp of the track of the storm which is the track we are used to seeing with these Southwesterly systems.

One positive thing we are seeing is that the storm shouldn’t ramp up until Saturday late afternoon/evening which would allow travelers time to get home after Christmas as TRAVEL LOOKS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY -based on the current data.

As with all of our Storms this Fall/Winter, they have been very wet systems.

As we always say- this is a WINTER FORECAST- things can and do change, please stay tuned!

This is a HOLIDAY WEEKEND SYSTEM that we do not want to catch people off guard.

We do not want to show any accumulation maps this early – HOWEVERSIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS IN AND AROUND THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PLAINS.

Please make your travel plans appropriately….
