Good morning Weather Watchers!

  • Here is a better idea of the Storm Track and what to expect.
  • The area that will see the most snow will be NW KS as they have the best lift from upslope conditions.

Areas along and South of US 50 should expects a Freezing Rain/Snow mix-

Just because your location might not be in the “Advisory” doesn’t mean you won’t see some SLICK driving conditions!

I wouldn’t be surprised to see another row of counties to the South being added by this afternoon as the Storm system possibly digs just a little further South before it takes its Left turn Northeastward into Central Missouri!!

Roads across West Central into Central into East Central areas could become Snowpacked & hazardous by Wed morning into early afternoon.

Untreated roads and Elevated surfaces in South Central area could be slick from freezing rain.

We will be keeping an eye on that situation…. PLEASE PLAN ON TAKING EXTRA TIME…

The COLD, potentially RECORD BREAKING COLD, will be a big part of this system… Record Low Highs look possible today and especially Wednesday.

Please share what you are experiencing as this system starts to strengthen tonight into Wednesday morning…

We slowly warm up but remain 29 degrees below normal as another storm approaches this weekend. It appears to stay just to our North…

    We will keep you posted…
